DJ Olu and a friend, Chime were found dead in DJ Olu’s car in a parked garage, after reportedly overdosing on hard drugs, but both families have denied that their sons use drugs.
It’s approaching a year since he died and the pop star is yet to get over his death, so he went on to dedicate his performance to him.
The 30 billion gang leader wore a red shirt with the inscription, ‘Long Live Olu’ on it before his performance at the Wireless festival.
During his set at the festival, he performed songs like ”Fia”, ”Fall”, ”Assurance” and ”If”, alongside label mate, Mayorkun.
They went on to perform Mayorkun’s “Che Che Che” and “Mama” together.
