Mother of Leah Sharibu, the only Dapchi school girl that is still in Boko Haram captivity for refusing to denounce her Christian faith, has appealed to the Federal government to help rescue her daughter.
Leah was among the 110 girls from the Government Girls Science and Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi in Yobe state that were abducted by Boko Haram.
Former presidential aide to Jonathan, Reno Omokri who recently wrote a book on Leah, shared the video on his twitter handle.
Veteran musician, Onyeka Onwenu, had on Wednesday also called for the release of Leah Sharibu.
A video appeal from Leah Sharibu’s mother, Rubecca (not Rebecca). Recorded in Dapchi during research for my book, Leah Sheribu: The Girl Boko Haram Left Behind. She spent 21 years teaching others people’s kids! Help her rescue her own! Watch and share. Help #BringBackOurLeah! pic.twitter.com/xNbBZxBmrd
