Here’s Where You Can Find Three Of The Five Google FREE WiFi Zones On The Mainland

Lagos Mainland residents around Ikeja, Agege and more can now enjoy free internet access as leading tech company, Google has launched a Google Station, a service to provide free high quality, high-speed Wifi hotspots in Nigeria.

Mainland residents can enjoy the free access at Ikeja City Mall; Ikeja Computer Village and MMA2 Domestic Airport.

It was gathered that Google started the program in partnership with 21st Century to make the internet more easily accessible to Nigerians.

Commenting on the development, the Google Nigeria country director, Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor, said: “Google Station will be rolling out in 200 locations in five cities across Nigeria by the end of 2019, bringing Wi-Fi to millions of people.

“Sites include markets, transport hubs, shopping malls, universities, and more. Nigeria is the fifth country to get Google Station, after India, Indonesia, Thailand and Mexico.”

In addition, Google is launching a search experience that allows users to explore health conditions based on symptoms, as well as recipe search for anyone who needs a little food inspiration in Nigeria.
