Have you ever been harassed by officials of the Special Anti-Robbery Squard (SARS)?
Cheer up for the time to report your experiences has come.
Hours after the Acting President, professor Yemi Osinbajo, instituted a major reform move to end the excesses of the officials of the security agency, the government has backed it up with the release of numbers and platforms that you can now report your experiences.
However, you will need to have an evidence for your claims to scale through.
The Presidency in different tweets on Wednesday asked aggrieved members of the public who have any complaint in the past or present of violation of their rights by any Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) personnel anywhere in the country to report through any of the following channels for investigation and redress.
Most of the numbers belong to the police which most Nigerians may have lost confidence in, as officials of SARS are also policemen.
“Numbers for reporting complaints relating to SARS: DIG, Dept of Operations 08037025670 IGP X-SQUAD: 09026900729, 08078662130, 08174041000 – CALLS 09032278905 – SMS 09035621377 – WhatsApp IGP Monitoring Unit 08036242591 Commissioner of Police, FSARS 08033476852,” one of the tweet read.
