400 Music Artistes Light Up MUPAN Inauguration

Not less than 400 Nigerian singers are ready to perform at the inauguration of the Music Promoters Association of Nigeria (MUPAN), Lagos State chapter, at the Genesis Hotels, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.

Scheduled to hold on October 27, 2017, ace Fuji crooners; Alhaji Kollington Ayinla and Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma will be leading all other Fuji musicians to the venue, while Chief Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi will lead Juju artistes, just as Small Doctor will be at the forefront of performances by the upcoming artistes.

Other artistes are expected from Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria (GOMA), Nigerian Association of Juju Musician (AJUM), Islamic Singers Association of Nigeria, Fuji Musician Association of Nigeria (FUMAN), Indigenous Musician Association of Nigeria and the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN). 

Others are Musical and Instruments Hiring Association of Nigeria, Freelance Independent Broadcasting Association of Nigeria, Movie Producers Association of Nigeria, and Music Advertisers Association of Nigeria.

According to a statement from the Association Secretary, Abiodun Awogbemi, among other invited dignitaries that have confirmed attendance are captains of music industry, Chief Executives of Hotels, and top media executives.

“The event, apart from entertaining the mind, is expected to be a forum for discovering new creative artists as well as meet and network with experienced music promoters,” said Awogbemi.

The national body of MUPAN, comprising all music promoters in Nigeria will be inaugurating its Lagos State chapter and the executives during the occasion.
